The ProxSIMity Arterial Puncture Simulator delivers an advanced and realistic platform for training in arterial puncture and arterial line placement procedures.
Powered by the ProxSIMity Blood Circulation Unit (BCU), the simulator provides dynamic, pulsatile blood flow that accurately replicates radial and ulnar arterial pressure and rhythm, giving learners a lifelike response during needle insertion and catheterization.
Each model includes a dual-artery configuration for radial and ulnar access, with an extended forearm design that accommodates both standard puncture and full arterial line setup using real medical instruments.
ProxSIMity’s modular replacement unit system allows the entire top section (including skin and vessels) to be swapped in seconds, greatly reducing maintenance time and cost compared to traditional models with replaceable individual components.
The simulator connects directly to the ProxSIMity BCU via quick-release connectors, enabling immediate control of pressure, pulse, and flow using both touchscreen and mechanical slider controls.
