 How to use it
Prior to use, place the injection pad inside a bowl of water, then drain out the excess liquid by squeezing the injection pad. This will help soften the sponge in the muscle layer. Prepare a syringe by filling it with water and start to practice injection. Insert the syringe in the model, and release its content once the syringe has reached the sponge in the muscle layer. You can repeat this process until you master the skill. Once the injection pad is full of fluid (up to 20ml) it can be drained out by squeezing the absorption sponge. See our instructional video for more details.
This model is also suitable for other types of injections including subcutaneous, intravenous, and intradermal. However, we do not recommend the use of fluid for anything other than training how to perform an intramuscular type of injection.
