Each replacement unit includes the skin and vein components and is built to withstand hundreds of punctures. When wear occurs, only the module needs replacement—making the system cost-effective, low-maintenance, and ideal for repeated institutional training.
The simulator includes two anatomically accurate veins—the median cubital and cephalic—providing authentic vein palpation, flashback, and refill behavior for true-to-life practice. When connected to the ProxSIMity Blood Circulation Unit (BCU) (sold separately), users can experience adjustable, pulsatile blood flow and precise control over pressure and flow rate for enhanced realism.
